Long Valley RC is excited to host it's first open to the public RC meet on February 28th, 2026.
The starting point will be the Park and Ride located on Ave of Flags just before the Santa Rosa Road Bridge in Buellton, CA. Please be sure to RSVP below so we can keep track of how many parking spaces will be needed. We will not have work benches or charging stations so please come prepared and ready to roll...our trip in total will be about a mile so please plan accordingly when it comes to batteries.

We will be using the Santa Ynez River Bed Trail, following it to the fork at Zaca Creek then returning back to the park and ride. The loop in total is roughly a mile and takes about an hour to complete. The terrain is mostly flat with the exception of two slight hills to get back up to the park and ride. There is a wide open meadow with plenty of crawling opportunities once we reach Zaca Creek so we can put the crawling capabilities of our rigs to the test. Due to the recent rains, wetness is expected and its recommended you bring water resistant footwear as well as a waterproof RC. The trail is narrow in some spots so a single file line will be needed. The trail is mostly well maintained but there are the occasional trip hazards like rocks and branches. A LVRC trail report will be available a week prior to the trail run and posted on this page.

Any 1/10th scale crawler is recommended for this trail run. We will be following the river most of the way so if you feel like bringing a boat, please do. Trailers aren't recommended
