Long Valley RC is a community-driven RC club based right here in Buellton, California, in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley.
We don’t have one single property that’s “ours,” and honestly, that’s part of the fun. We meet up at local parks and public areas where RCs are allowed, explore different terrain, and enjoy the hobby together. We host RC NASCAR races, organize group RC hikes, and get together simply to drive, learn, and hang out. My goal with Long Valley RC is simple: to teach, inspire, and bring people together.

The build took nearly 4 months and several dollars but this LVRC member finally completed work on his Carf Models Mephisto gas turbine jet. Members of LVRC gathered at Santa Ynez Airport to perform the maiden flight of the 55lb super jet. Careful planning and coordination led to a successful and safe maiden flight. When asked why this maiden flight was so important to him , the pilot said "This Mephisto V1 was the last V1 to come into the US. Our friend Andy helped me out getting it. I tried to spare no expense in build my dream jet. After the maiden I am in love."
